We offer a 14-day return window for eligible change-of-mind returns. This page explains which products qualify and how to return them to our Johannesburg branch. How refund money is calculated and paid is explained on our Refunds Policy.
Our 14-day return window
Return the goods to our Johannesburg branch within 14 calendar days of collection if you change your mind or order the wrong item. The window starts when you receive the goods, not when you pay. To qualify under this voluntary offer, the product must be unused, complete and in resalable condition, with its packaging undamaged and seals intact. Keep your order reference or other proof of purchase.
Opened, installed or used ink, toner and other consumables do not qualify for this voluntary change-of-mind offer. This does not remove any right relating to a defect, an incorrect item or another qualifying return.
Starting a return
Email support@officetools.co.za with your order reference, product code and reason for return. For a fault, include the printer model, any error message and photographs or a print sample where available. We will explain the next step and any assessment needed. Please contact us before returning goods so they can be directed correctly.
Damaged, incorrect or defective products
Contact us promptly if an item is damaged, missing or incorrect. Keep the packaging and avoid installing or continuing to use an incorrect or unsafe item. A reasonable assessment may be needed to confirm the issue; an immediate replacement is not guaranteed. For a confirmed defect, the remedy may be a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances and your rights. Manufacturer warranty processes are separate and do not replace your rights against us.
Costs and exchanges
Eligible returns are handed in at our Johannesburg branch during office hours after contacting us; there is no delivery charge. We do not charge a restocking, administration or payment-processing fee for an eligible return. Exchanges depend on the returned item's eligibility and replacement availability; we will confirm any price difference before proceeding.

Refund summary
For a straightforward eligible return, our target is to inspect the goods and start the refund within 7 business days of receiving them. Your bank or payment provider may then take about 3 to 10 further business days for the funds to reflect. Refunds normally follow the original payment route; we are cashless and do not issue cash refunds. No restocking or administration fee applies. See the full Refunds Policy for detail.
